Intro to Skinimalism

Skinimalism is a strong awareness of which ingredients most benefit the skin. The skin can be in harmony with more concentrated ingredients by avoiding multiple layers of several products. Skinimalism means more control over our skin care lives. We want to introduce you to Skinimalism!Today, many people realize that we can live with less. The minimalist belief is to clear out the unnecessary. It's not saying to purge the things we love and move into a tiny home; hire Marie Kondo or The Home Edit duo, Clea and Joanna.

Anyone can spark a journey to skinimalism. It just takes more focus on the ingredients we need and know to be powerful. 

Skinimalists do what works for them. It's tempting to try all the new products flashing before our eyes. Yet, the cost of all those goodies can be unsympathetic to the wallet. Also, do you need 15 products on your face? Quality over quantity is the motto!While layering our clothes, we usually aim to be warm, look nice, or follow a trend. Skin care choices should have a purpose, too. When using more than one product, it's better to let each layer of product settle first. On the flip side, too many ingredients can have an adverse effect, confusing or be completely unfounded.

  1. Determine your skin goal and needs. Your beauty products should bring value to your skin health and wellness. 
  2. Opt for a skincare product that targets skin concerns in one bottle or as a duo.

Here's a sample Skinimalism Routine:

Daytime Routine (in this order):

  • Cleanser 

Or nothing at all. Some people splash their faces with cold water for 30-60 seconds, while others may need a gentle cleanser.

  • Serum

Out of all skin products (aside from cleansing), the skin needs active ingredients. So, a serum is a must.

  • Eye Cream

The eyes are fragile. Therefore, moisturizing the eye area is an essential step in any routine. Many eye creams are branded as an eye cure but are only moisturizers reminding us to focus on the eye area. RxESCUESKIN is truly powerful.   • Moisturizer

It doesn't matter our skin type or condition; sun protection is a must.
